Experience a hilarious and haunting twist on musical theater with The Guy Who Didn't Like Musicals (School-Friendly Version) at Center Stage Theater. This comedy/horror musical, originally created by StarKid Productions, follows Paul Matthews, an average guy who despises musicals, as he navigates a bizarre apocalypse where townspeople break into song and dance after a meteor crash.

This community-driven production was initiated by Grace Cotner, a graduating senior from Fusion Academy Santa Barbara, aiming to provide performance opportunities for youth lacking access to school-sponsored arts programs. Directed by award-winning actor and writer Megyn Price, the show brings together local actors, musicians, and volunteers to create a true collaborative theater experience.
